FLARE World Runway Tour Event

Last week I attended FLARE Magazines FLARE World Runway Tour Event. I was so excited when I first heard about this event firstly because it’s FLARE Magazine and they were supporting a great cause, The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Secondly because it was a 10 min walk from my home, couldn’t of been any better. The tour started in Vancouver and went on to Burlington, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal and will be finishing in Quebec City.  My friend and I arrived a few minutes…

Niagara Falls Birthday

A past weekend was one of my good friends birthday, Susie! We went to Niagara Falls for the night with a few of us girls. We went down early and spent that day being bit of tourists, visiting the falls, going in and out of little shops and taking ridiculous photos as you can see. I wore a black dress that I made a while back (see here) and my new bubble necklace (which is one of the best statement pieces I probably…

Date Night :: Red Skirt

You may remember me doing a DIY for this skirt here & that was the last time I wore it. I am so happy that the weather is so beautiful here in Ontario, Canada and I can wear all my favourite summer outfits without leggings. Winter comes to fast in my opinion.  I wore this the other week on a Friday night when Adam and I went out for a drink and some dinner at a new restaurant near our apt. It was delicious…

Blazer Dress

A while ago I picked up this garment up at my local thrift store, it was baggy, long sleeved & had a longer length. But with some sewing, trimming & taking in I ended up with this dress. It’s one of my favorites now!  I wore this when I went out the other day to get some frozen yogurt with Adam, it was one of those places where you can build your own and it was delicious! If you follow me on instagram…

DIY :: Airbrush Clutch

Remember when I said I was going to show you how to achieve an airbrushed look like in this post? I am excited to say I am very happy with my final results. I used these SprayZa Airbrush Marker Set that I found at a local store near my house. I was very interested to see how they worked. Basically you stick one of the markers into the grey holder (at the bottom to the right) and blow from the top. I am…
