DIY :: Glitter Suede Booties

Tulip is one of my go to craft brands, they have everything and it’s excellent quality. And no Tulip is not endorsing this post lol. Couple weeks ago I saw a pair of glitter sided pumps in LouLou Magazine and instantly knew I had to try to make a pair with my $3.00, yes $3.00 shoes I found at Wal-Mart.
What You Need:
Shoes, Glitter, Tulip Glitter Bond, Make-up Sponge
1. Start by making a line of where you want your glitter to go. I started mine at the middle of the back of the shoes and stopped a bit past the heel. You can see the pencil line in the first picture.
2. Using the make-up sponge start spreading the glue on your marked area.
3. Over newspaper, pour a generous amount of glitter over the glue. Shake off the extra.
4. If you have a clear spray paint, spray over the glitter for extra hold.

    I would never, ever have thought that I could do something like this. It seriously takes balls to glitter your shoes and the results are amazing.

    Wondered if glitter would work on suede! They look great ๐Ÿ™‚ I did a similar diy with heels that I think were vinyl material and it worked great.
