As you may have known, I took part in the Dixie Outlet Mall, She Who Hunts, Finds campaign. (check out my first post here & to find out what your shopping persona is!) They asked a few of us bloggers to head to the mall with a $200 gift card and put together a fall outfit! I went into the mall with the original plan for trying to find a cute vest for the fall but was quickly sidetracked by a number of shoe deals that were at the mall!
My first stop was Winners. I feel like it’s my home away from home! I headed straight to the shoe section and quickly spotted these black Clark’s booties that had a rubber sole and knew that they would be perfect for the fall/winter season. Although they were $100 at winners (originally priced $160+), they are leather and sometimes you can’t put a price tag on a quality pair of boots! This did take about had my budget, but I knew I would find other deals within the mall to complete my look. I also picked up a pair of cropped jeans at Winners as I like the look of showing a bit of ankle with a cute boot!
With my bottom half, pretty much complete I went on the hunt for a cute shirt. I headed into Jean Machine as I could tell from just walking by that they had some adorable shirts and BOGO sales happening. Also, did you know that the Jean Machine at Dixie Outlet Mall is ALWAYS 15% cheaper than any other Jean Machine, even for new merchandise? You’re welcome! Back to the shirt, I spotted this tank in the extra 50% rack and being a sucker for peplum and backless tops it was an easy choice. Also helped that it was only $20. Score!
With a bit still left on my gift card, I wondered around the mall going into every store and then did a quick last stop at Nine West has they are currently having a huge blowout sale. It doesn’t look like there’s much in there, but honestly there is. I browsed the whole store and was stuck between two shoes, a blue peep top with a small heel and the yellow ones. As you can see, I went with the yellow pumps. I picked them because I knew they would go with more and they had a slightly bigger heel, which is good with your only 5’3. The pumps were original $120 but were marked down to $36.00!
So overall, I think I did pretty well hunting down an outfit for $200 at Dixie Outlet Mall. While, I didn’t end up buying a bag, I opted for 2 pairs of shoes which gives my overall look, 2 different looks! One being more casual with the boots and the other a bit dressier using the pumps!
What do you guys think of this look? And be sure to keep checking back to the blog as I might just have a giveaway coming up where you could win a $200 gift card.
