New Years Resolutions with LOFT Canada + Hilarious Videos
New Years resolutions are something that everyone makes at this time of year but the question is how many of us actually keep them? The HILARIOUS duo over at Hot Mess Moves partnered up with LOFT this year to create a series of videos that add humour to the typical New Years resolutions that I’m sure all of us have made.

Purple Blue
The other day while shopping with Mom’s Makeup Stash, I found these beautiful Nine West pumps at the DSW outlet. They were such a great price and with the additional discount because of Boxing Day that I couldn’t resist picking them up. Plus they match my necklace perfectly! Other than the shoes, I didn’t do much Boxing Day shopping which was surprising. What about you guys? What did you end up grabbing during the Boxing Day sales?

Styling Knee High Socks with Boots
Getting the most out of your dresses and skirts can be a tad tricky once the colder weather hits which is why this season I am investing in multiple pairs of knee high socks. I got this pair for Christmas and they are perfect for my brown boots as they add some detailing with the plaid print on them. I’m also going to be trying to pair them with smaller ankle boots so keep an eye for that post as well.

Oversized Sweaters
Oversized sweaters are one of the greatest items for the Fall and Winter as we tend to eat a bit more and hibernate at home. This specific sweater is one of my go-to’s as it’s really soft and is long enough to go over my leggings. Since the full outfit is very neutral I like to pair it with my leopard booties that I found at Marshalls last season. Looks like leopard print is not looking to go anywhere anytime soon.

Red Peplum
I spotted this look while looking at Pinterest one afternoon and realized that I had basically the same outfit in my closet! I like the pair together and it kind of reminds me of a holiday outfit but that could just because Christmas is this week and the shirt is red. I really encourage all of you to take a moment and shop your own closets once in a while as you would be amazed at the items that you will find and&…

NYE Option Two
As mentioned in my previous post, I am down to two different options to wear for New Years Eve this year. I’m going to a house party so I’m not too worried about showing a bit more skin and wearing something a little more fun. This is my 2nd option and it’s a neutral coloured romper with sexy in the back! The back has lace detail in a deep V which is the reason I fell in love with it. …

NYE Option One
New Years Eve is right around the corner and I have been trying to figure out what to wear. I have it down to two different outfits the one below and one that I will be posting tomorrow. This first one is a simple black dress that is floor length on the one side and a mini skirt on the other. The back has a small keyhole slit for added detail. I wore it plain in the first picture and then added a&…

Faux Layering
I found this shirt while shopping on Black Friday at LOFT and what may look like two shirts is actually only one! The shirt gives that layering look but not all the bulkiness that can sometimes come from wearing two different shirts. The shirt also comes in a light pink but personally liked the darker colour for the Winter and the little feather details on the blouse.
