If you’re planning a Disney trip and wondering whether EPCOT is worth a full day… the answer is yes. And honestly, I already want to go back without the kids just to fully experience everything it has to offer.
Here’s exactly how our day went, what we loved, and what I’d recommend if you’re visiting EPCOT in 2026.

Start Early (It’s Always Worth It)

We kicked off our day by getting to the park early, which gave us time to explore without the crowds and track down the iconic EPCOT tram photo spot (I’ll be sharing that in a separate reel!), but I’ll also share below.
Arriving early at Disney parks is always one of the best strategies. You’ll beat the heat, avoid long lines, and get more done in those first few hours than you expect.
How to Get to the Infamous EPCOT Tram Photo Spot
- After walking into EPCOT, make a hard right before you even go under the tram tracks
- Most people will just keep going straight to see Spacship Earth
- On the right, you will see a trash can, and that’s the perfect spot to put your phone
- Set up your phone on video and wait. The tram comes every 6-8 minutes
- You can take screenshots from the video after
- This spot is also perfect because it’s less busy
First Stop: The Seas with Nemo & Friends

Our first ride of the day was The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and it did not disappoint.
Not only is the ride itself super cute and well done, but when you exit, you walk straight into one of the largest aquariums in the United States. It’s such an unexpected highlight and honestly felt like a two-in-one experience.
Don’t Miss This: Journey of Water (Moana)

Next, we headed to Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, and this is one attraction you cannot skip.
It’s an interactive walkthrough trail inspired by Moana, and it’s such a fun way to cool off during the day. The attention to detail here is incredible, and it’s perfect for kids to explore at their own pace.
Around the World at EPCOT

One of the most unique parts of EPCOT is the World Showcase, where you can “travel” through 11 different countries in one day.
We made our way through each pavilion, and it truly feels like a completely different experience in every country. I get a lot of questions about whether we drank our way through the countries, and unfortunately, no, we didn’t. With two young kids, this wasn’t the priority, but do I want to plan a trip to EPCOT just with my husband? Sure do!
The girls’ favourite rides here were:
- Frozen Ever After
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Both are incredibly immersive and definitely worth prioritizing.
Midday Break: Food + Shows

We took a break for lunch and caught a show near the front of the park, which was a nice way to slow things down for a bit.
One thing I love about EPCOT is that it naturally gives you those slower moments between rides, especially as you walk through each country.
Ending the Day with Thrill Rides

We wrapped up our day with multiple rides on Test Track, which the girls were absolutely obsessed with.
And for a bigger thrill, Everleigh rode Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind… and WOW. It was insane in the best way and definitely a must-do if you’re visiting EPCOT.
Final Thoughts: Is EPCOT Worth It with Kids?
Absolutely. EPCOT has such a good mix of rides, interactive experiences, and slower-paced exploring that makes it perfect for families.
But it’s also one of those parks you could easily enjoy as adults, too, especially when it comes to the World Showcase.
If I had one takeaway? Don’t rush EPCOT. Take your time, explore each country, and enjoy the experience.
We’re already planning a second visit… this time, maybe without the kids 😉
