The Fashion & Design Festival reveals the designers who will present their 2015 spring-summer creations during FDF Collections in collaboration with P&G Beauty
Montreal, Quebec – July 11, 2014 – The Fashion & Design Festival announced today the designers that have been selected to present their 2015 spring-summer collection during the Fashion & Design Festival’s “Collections” segment. These designers are the editorial choice of Garance Doré, a leading international fashion influencer and this year’s FDF Collections Commissioner.
The designers are:
- Ève Gravel
- Mylène B
- Niapsou Design
- Travis Taddeo
- UNTTLD
- Ying Gao
The selected designers will present their work free of charge as part of FDF Collections, taking place August 18–19, at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal. The event will take the form of a grand collective runway show. As Commissioner for FDF Collections, Garance Doré will meet the designers to share her observations and discuss the challenges surrounding the penetration of international markets.
“For me, what is important is a unique design and a desire to communicate – which, today, is a key quality for a fashion designer,” said Garance Doré. “These qualities were important in how I made my selections!”
FDF Collections is part of the Fashion & Design Festival’s objective to make fashion more accessible to consumers and media in a festive atmosphere. With the concept for this segment being intimate, the audience will include media representatives and a select group of consumers, who are avid fashion and design enthusiasts.
