The past couple winter seasons I’ve been partnering up with NOIZE who focus on creating faux fur and vegan leather pieces.
This year I decided to go a bit out of my comfort zone and pick the Kim Vegan Leather Biker Jacket in yellow. This yellow vegan leather jacket is even better than I thought. I wasn’t so nervous about the jacket as the belt around the side can be removed to give the jacket a more causal look. Instead, I was nervous about the colour. How was I going to pull of a yellow jacket?
As you can tell, I obviously went for it. I’ve really been trying to bring different pieces into my wardrobe and what better way than with a yellow jacket. I find bright, non-neutral colours intimidating sometimes they can be harder to pair with other items. The trick I’ve learned is to pair the items with neutral items in your closets just as a simple pair of jeans and/or a white/black t-shirt. Another great trick I’ve learned is to search the item on Pinterest. Searching ‘yellow jacket’ on Pinterest helped me realize all the different ways I could really wear the jacket.
