Jean shopping is like shopping for a bra – not fun. You feel like you’re trying on a billion pairs and you always feel tired after. I make sure to grab a coffee before shopping for these items so I can keep going. Does anyone else do this? Or maybe it’s a secret excuse for me to get a Starbucks.

NYDJ and Dress for Success Toronto
As part of their fundamental mission to raise women’s self-esteem, NYDJ has partnered with Dress for Success Toronto for the Denim in the Workplace series, and NYDJ will donate $10 to Dress for Success on behalf of each fitting.
Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
This fall/winter season, NYDJ will be presenting the Denim in the Workplace series – a guided denim fit tour taking place in Toronto. Jeans are quickly (if not already) the most versatile item in someone’s closet. More workplaces are even letting their employees wear jeans on a daily basis. Denim Experts will explore everything from how to select the wash of your jeans, to incorporating the latest fashion trends such as distressed, released hem, or rip and repair jeans, and how to build an outfit.
Women in the GTA can get this experience at the Toronto Women’s Show on November 10-12, 2017. The series will also roll out in offices across the greater city area.
