what to wear in aruba

Not sure how you can go to an island and not do this post after. It felt so nice for the past week to live mostly in a swimsuit, sundresses and a few pair’s shorts.

As mentioned, I think I packed mostly swimsuits, as I knew for that week I would be living either by a beach or pool. This year I made a pack to not buy anymore bandeau bathing suits and branched out of my comfort zone.

Bikini Village helped me with this by giving me two super cute suits to add to my new collection. The first was a pink halter-top that has a peak-a-boo area at the top and ties at the back. The bottoms are a matching print that ties on the sides and has pink/gold tassels hanging off. I loved this suit for snorkelling, as I knew it would keep me ‘secure’ and while visiting Flamingo Beach, because it’s pink and just seemed fitting.

The next bathing suit was an off the shoulder top in an amazing green tropical print. The top has super cute frills and also has bathing bottoms. I loved how different this suit was compared to anything I currently own and with the number of complements I got on it – I knew it was a perfect choice. It was the perfect suit for lounging days around the pool and beach.

Other than bathing suits, I basically lived in anything that was flowy and comfy because firstly, I was on vacation and comfort is key, secondly, my suntan did not like anything too restricting. What do you like to pack on vacations?
