Last week I attended FLARE Magazines FLARE World Runway Tour Event. I was so excited when I first heard about this event firstly because it’s FLARE Magazine and they were supporting a great cause, The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Secondly because it was a 10 min walk from my home, couldn’t of been any better. The tour started in Vancouver and went on to Burlington, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal and will be finishing in Quebec City.
My friend and I arrived a few minutes before the doors were going to open and there was already a line up, but it moved very quickly. Once inside, we were given our VIP passes and took a photo in front of the flare backdrop. Also inside there were TRESemme hairstylists fixing and touching up your hair, a photo spot where you could pretend you were on the cover of FLARE and much more to keep you busy before the show started. There were servers passing around snacks and drinks, that looked and were amazing, something about mini-sized food is just plain awesome. With our passes we were also allowed two cocktails, which my friend and I had the signature cocktail of the night, The Flare!
