When I first heard about this product I was excited as anything that’s a 2-in-1 combo and that can save me time in the morning is amazing. My first initial reaction to the new 2-in-1 Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer I liked the large 30ml glass bottle that it came in but I wasn’t expecting the brush that is inside. When I think foundation, my mind goes straight to a bottle where I pour the product on my fingers or on a sponge and then apply. The 2-in-1 Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer has a unique magic wand sponge that makes it easy to apply a flawless base in 90 seconds.
“A unique applicator boasts different types of technique options. Use the doe foot part of the wand to apply dots all over the face, turn it sideways to spread across the cheeks and larger areas on the face, or just use the tippy top to cover smaller imperfections. Each angle presents a different possibility for getting the level of coverage you want.”
The 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer comes in 20 different shades, shown below. I tried the product in two different shades, Cream Whip and Golden Neutral to be able to see the difference between the two. The Cream Whip blended a lot better with my skin tone as demonstrated in the swatch photos. Golden Neutral was very golden, hint the name but I think this colour would be a better fit come summer when I hopefully have a tan.
Overall, I really love this product. It definitely gives a full coverage without having to apply additional face products and it’s lightweight while providing coverage for up to 12 hours. It would also work great to help cover small skin marks such as scratches or birthmarks.
