Let’s just start by saying how gorgeous the new Vice Urban Decay palette is, am I right? Part of their Christmas, Holiday collection Urban Decay put together 20 shades that have never been seen before into the palette as well as a huge mirror, a double ended brush and a matching bag that makes this palette the perfect travel companion. What I noticed immediately was that the palette includes shades for all skin tones and I really enjoy how they spaced them out with a column of neutrals, cool colours, matte colours and a column of reds that screams Fall. I found that each shade was very pigmented and glided onto the eye smoothly without having to use a large amount of the shade.
The outside of the palette is just as gorgeous as the inside with a case that reminds me of neon lights. If you really wanted I feel like the case could almost double as a clutch.
Each swatch was done with just one glide from a makeup brush onto my forearms. I couldn’t believe how easy the colours showed on my arms. I’ve been trying to pick a favourite and I think now it might be Sonic and Last Sin. What’s your favourite?
Overall, I really like the palette as it offers a variety of shades in a decent sized compact. If you are a fan of neutrals and bright pigmented blues/reds I feel like this palette would be a great option for you and your Christmas list!
The palette is available for $60 on the Urban Decay’s website, Sephora or Nordstrom or Macys.
