Schick Hydro Silk Canada is currently organizing an online gallery that recognizes the women in our lives that inspire us. If it’s your mom, daughter, friend, grandma or anyone else we all have someone in our lives that have inspired us and Schick Hydro wants to hear your stories. They approached me, as they wanted to hear from you guys, my readers about who inspires you and why. I hope you can sound off in the comment section below (provide a picture if you can, or a link to one) and all the stories will be going live on May 22nd in an online exhibition. You can share a story about what strides you have made your self or submit a story about someone you admire.
And for sharing your stories on my blog (Schick will automatically move your stories from my comments to the online gallery) Schick Hydro Silk wants to give a $40 prize pack to one of you lucky readers that will include the new razors coming to Schick Hydro Silk! See the rafflecopter below.
The gallery will enable women to post inspiring stories about themselves or others, share the stories on their social networks, celebrate acts of endearing or amazing and encourage others to do the same. By uploading pictures to corresponding stories, participants will not only be setting an example of the positive change people can make in the world, they will also be helping all women: for every image or story uploaded, $1.00 will be donated to a Women’s Mental Health program. Consumers will also be entered into a contest to win an unforgettable getaway to Costa Rica.
Be sure to check out their Facebook (HydroSilkCanada) and Twitter (@HydroSilkCA) page so you can be one of the first people to see all the stories that people like you will be submitting,
My story is about my mom. My parents got divorced when I was little, and I spent a lot of time with my mom and she basically raised my brother and I herself. She helped me through many things in life like school, even when I decided to leave home for the first time at 20 and go live across the world in Australia and then leave again shortly after I came back to go to S.Korea. She also helped with breakups, getting my first car and much more. She’s always there to help and guide me even when I don’t want any help lol! But that’s what makes an amazing mother and I’m lucky to have her.
My partner and I both made career changes three years ago and I think we have both come a long way, and our resilience inspires each other.
