Apparently, the new craze is Ice Dyeing. I never heard of this until all of the videos started to pop up on Facebook and YouTube. So, when there is a new DIY craze you know I have to try it out for myself.
I opted to test Ice Dyeing on a bathing suit because I had a plain white one laying around. However, this DIY can be done on any piece of clothing or even home decor piece like a pillow case. Ice Dyeing Tips
- Make sure you use a powder dye
- Have a tray to catch the melting ice
- Let the item sit for 24 hours before washing
- Use more than one colour to create a better effect
