Kimonos for Fall & Pearls for Girls Jewellery

Kimonos for Fall & Pearls for Girls Jewellery

Pearls for Girls (see other post here) is from a Swedish Design’ that has recently launched their trendy new costume jewellery collection here in Canada. The company was founded in Sweden in 2005 and is now sold in several countries across Europe as well as Australia and Canada. The pieces paired perfectly with my kimono that I picked up at Tobi a couple months ago. As mentioned in my previous posts, I love the jade line but there are so many different styles that&…

My Favourite Fall Transition Pieces

My Favourite Fall Transition Pieces

This post has a bunch of my favourite pieces for transitioning into Fall. First are my Vince Camuto sandals that I have talked about a few times, they never hurt my feet so I want to wear them all the time! Secondly, my William Rast Jeans, they fit like a glove and are a soft denim so I’m not ripping them off as soon as I get home like some other pants I own. Next, is a jean jacket, it’s the …

Faux Leather Accent Mini

Faux Leather Accent Mini

I spotted this number at a local Le Chateau outlet loved the small details of faux leather at the sides and the front pockets. The dress came in a variety of colours such as black and white stripes and a few more. I tried on the stripe one but it just didn’t quite fit the same. This dress does fit a bit on the tighter side so I would suggest going a size up because there are no zippers that will help …

Pastel Neutrals

Pastel Neutrals

This outfit is a great option if you work in an office and need something that isn’t too corporate and that can double as a date night outfit. Don’t be afraid to pair two neutral colours together, like a simple pastel and a white but be sure to add a darker hue on the bottom to bring the outfit together. Shirt: RW&CO | Pants: Zara | Blazer: Dynamite | Shoes: Aldo Necklace: Avon Canada

DIY :: How To Turn Jeans into Lace Shorts

DIY :: How To Turn Jeans into Lace Shorts

I was going through a bunch of old clothes and came across these black jeans, they fitted perfectly around the waist but the bottoms were terrible – way too long and almost like a bell-bottom look. Not a look I was willing to try to bring back. I found some lace in my craft drawers and converted these old jeans to a pair of DIY Lace Trim Shorts. It was the perfect solution to bring these bottoms back to life. Lay jeans down…

Fall Means Sweater Dresses

Fall Means Sweater Dresses

With Fall, comes comfy and oversized clothing – my favourite! When I spotted this striped sweater dress at Joe Fresh, I fell in love. It is super warm and  can be worn with a pair of cute booties or with a  pair of tights on a colder day. Since the dress is busy with all the stripes, I didn’t want to add a necklace and take away from the contrast of stripes between the dress and the collar. Instead I opted for a&…

Mint Jeans & Statement Pieces

Mint Jeans & Statement Pieces

This outfit has some of my favourite pieces as of lately. The necklace I received while attending the Shopper Drug Mart TIFF Suite a couple weeks back. Although it can be a bit heavy on the necklace, it is a great statement piece. Next, are the shoes. You can’t go wrong with Vince Camuto. Luckily, I scored a great deal on these at the DSW launch. If you weren’t aware they are currently opened in Mississauga and Newmarket!   Pants: Material …

Clairol: Nice n’ Easy

Clairol: Nice n’ Easy

Working a full-time job, keeping up with the blog and a personal life definitely keeps me super busy. It’s not all bad because I love what I do and I’m the type of person that likes to keep busy and is unsure of what to do with down time With that said, everyone does enjoy a little pampering and learning some new beauty and fashion tricks from the pros. So, when I was approached with the opportunity to take part in …

Jeanne Beker Fall 2014 at The Shoe Company

Jeanne Beker Fall 2014 at The Shoe Company

Jeanne Beker is bringing another fabulous line to The Shoe Company this Fall. You can take a look at the pieces below. The colours of each piece scream Fall, especially the dark burgundy items like the Wine pumps. How can you go wrong with anything with the name ‘wine’ in it? I also love the ankle booties as they are strong neutral colours that can be worn with any outfit and are great transitional pieces for the Summer-Fall transition we’re currently in.
