Summer Vibes

Summer Vibes

Dynamite Floral Dress / Dynamite Boyfriend Blazer The other weekend I headed out with a few girlfriends for High Tea downtown Toronto. As it was my first time, I was unsure what exactly I should be wearing so when in doubt – put on a dress! I recently received this pretty floral dress from Dynamite and I’ll have to say, I think it’s perfect for the summer. The light-weight fabric, fitted top with the A-line skirt makes it easy to turn this dress …

Summer Bell Sleeve Dresses

Summer Bell Sleeve Dresses

Wearing – Dress: Avon Garden Dress | Bag: Marshalls I never thought that I would be that big of a fan of the bell sleeve trend but things changed when this dress showed up. With the tighter fit around the waist but the loose features such as the sleeves and skirt, I have a feeling it might be a new go-to. Originally when I saw this trend – the bell sleeves I was a bit unsure. I honestly thought that it was going to make me …

Spring Cherry Blossoms

Spring Cherry Blossoms

Downtown Burlington has some of the most beautiful Cherry Blossoms. Located in Spencer Smith Park, which is right on the water is still one of my favourite spots to visit. Around this time of year, April/May is when you can usually find these beautiful flowers. They are located near the back of the park, closer to Lakeshore road. Just remember, if you’re looking to take some photos with the Cherry Blossoms, go early. I headed there on a Sunday around 9 am …

2017 Spring Trends | My Favourites

2017 Spring Trends | My Favourites

Spring is one of the best seasons. I know people say fall is, but spring is when we can bust out all the bright colours in our closets and lock away the blacks and browns. It’s that time of year when my wallet takes a little more of a dent because of all the new items in the stores. For 2017, I am really trying to only purchase items that are different from what is currently in my closet. I recently took a&…

Floral Lace Up Dress

Floral Lace Up Dress

When I was approached by 2weeksnotice, I not only fell in love with their clothes but also the story behind Nadine opening her own online boutique. She was working 5 jobs before starting 2weeksnoticeclothing.com and quit all 5 at the same time to pursue her dream. It was so inspiring to hear her story as it can be hard to take that leap. Her goal with opening the store is to, not only bring cute fashion to us ladies but also inspire others to …

Weather Make Up Your Mind

Weather Make Up Your Mind

American Eagle Ripped Jeans | Nine West Silver Shoes | Express White Tank | cupcakes and cashmere Fringe Jacket Is it spring? Is it winter? Who knows. I feel like one day I am wearing a big winter jacket and then the next day I’m out in this spring jacket. I’m personally looking forward to the warmer weather as I’m not a fan of bundling. Or it could be because Adam and I purchased a boat last year and this will be our&…

Stylish Winter Gear

Stylish Winter Gear

As you can tell from my past few posts and obsessive amount of Instagram posts, I was in NYC the past weekend. When planning for this trip, I was thinking of everything warm to bring so I wouldn’t freeze. This included winter boots, warm coats, hats, mitts, the whole nine yards. Adam and I were so excited to bring along our new Winter Grip Olang Boots. They can keep your feet warm in -30 degrees weather. Little did we know that the …

Style a Romper in the Winter

Style a Romper in the Winter

[columns_row width=”half”] [column][/column] [column][/column] [/columns_row] When I spotted this Velvet Burgundy Spaghetti Strap Romper I knew I had to add it to my closet. Not only have I been meaning to add more rompers to my closet but I also been wanting to add more velvet pieces. With this Velvet romper matching both those requirements and the fact that it’s under $25, how can you pass that up? As much as I wanted this romper, I knew that …

Surviving Winter with K-Way

Surviving Winter with K-Way

It finally snowed, well a little! I had a small hope that maybe winter was going to skip this year but this weekend proved me wrong. On the bright side, I’m looking into booking a trip to Aruba to escape this winter-ness and I have a new winter jacket to keep me warm! Recently I was introduced to K-Way, which is described as the modern raincoat. I actually think it’s more than that. Living in Canada, you get used to having …
