Over the past few weekends, I’ve been living out of a suitcase so it got me thinking about travel outfits and the best items to wear. I’ve made some bad decisions before with wearing the wrong items on a long flight or during a car ride. This is why I’m sharing my 3 favourite things to wear when travelling.
Tips for the Perfect Travel Outfit

Not like Joey does in Friends with Candler’s clothes but I usually put a long sleeve shirt under a sweater or a t-shirt under a big cozy sweater like this pink fuzzy sweater one from Tobi. This prevents you from having to lug around a huge coat in the winter yet you can still remove layers if the temperature changes.
- Leggings: Ever worn jeans on a long flight or car ride? Not fun. Whenever I know I’m going to be sitting in one spot for an extended period of time my Lululemons come out. Luckily, now a lot of jean companies are making stretchier options so if you need to look a little more professional you can.
- Socks: Bring socks! Even if it’s the middle of the summer and I’m heading on a trip, I always have a pair handy. I don’t know about you but there is just something about bare feet when on a plane. I can’t do it.
