Aruba Travel Guide

Aruba Travel Guide

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently travelled to Aruba and it did not disappoint. Upon arriving in Aruba, we checked into our hotel the Riu Antilla and headed straight for the buffet and pool. This is how we spent the majority of our first day. After a long plane rid, there’s not much else you want to do.

The next day we woke up and headed down the beach to Aruba Watersports Center for our 12:30 pm snorkel tour. We opted for the afternoon tour as we figured that there would be more sun at this time and it tends to be more a party. The catamaran boat took us out to two locations to snorkel that included the Antilla shipwreck and a reef area. The tour also offers an open bar and light snacks after the first snorkel to energize you back up.

Other tours that I recommend while in Aruba is renting ATVs. It’s a great way to travel around the island and see as much as you can within a day. We got the see the church, natural pool, natural bridge as well as sight see around the island while driving some fun ATVs! Special thanks to the Kini Kini Tours for setting this up for us. Stay tuned for a blog post all about my ATV Adventure.

If you’re looking to see more sea life during your time in Aruba make sure to look into a Dive Tour. Stay tuned for my Dive Post.

Aruba Travel Tips

  • Towel clips are handy – the island is very windy
  • Lots of sunscreens
  • Super safe island – you can walk around at night and feel completely safe
  • The Riu Aruba offers one of the best all-inclusive options you can find
    • You get access to both locations which are side by side
