Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone with Bathing Suits

Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone | Bathing Suits

Before heading to Costa Rica, Dee and I were trying to find some cute bathing suits, so we ended up asking all of you on Twitter.

Walmart’s 2016 summer collection was coming out with some super cute bathing suits near the end of April, which is when we were heading out for our trip. I’ll be honest, I never really thought of Walmart for bathing suits, more for bottoms I can mix and match as I find I often wear them faster than tops.

So off to Walmart I went, obviously getting an iced coffee from McDonald’s first. The collection of bathing suit tops was larger than I was expecting, with even more coming in as I type this.
I tried on a few different tops, sticking to my comfort zone first by trying on thestandard bra-type bathing suit tops, but then I ventured out a bit just to seewhat I might like.

As you can see I ended up with a zig-zag ruffle top that ties up at the back. I NEVER thought that I would like this kind of top, but itlooked great. I’m so happy that this experience made me venture out and try new tops. Also, did I mention that the top was only $10? I’m waiting for more colours to come in this style and I’m going to buy more.

Watermelon Towel Walmart

In addition to the bathing suit top, I picked up a watermelon towel (because everything watermelon is amazing), a simple workout tank since the Dri-more fabric is perfect for when you’re in a boiling hot place like Costa Rica, and a cover-up for the beach. I knocked off so many things I needed for my trip all in one shopping trip and for under $50!

Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post and providing a gift card to go shopping so I could get fully ready for my trip!
