New Years resolutions are something that everyone makes at this time of year but the question is how many of us actually keep them? The HILARIOUS duo over at Hot Mess Moves partnered up with LOFT this year to create a series of videos that add humour to the typical New Years resolutions that I’m sure all of us have made.
I won’t pretend that I’m not guilty of saying every year I’m going to work out more and then a couple months in I find myself stepping on that Treadmill a little less. It’s just so easy to find an excuse not to but once again this year I am telling myself I am going to try again. Plus, I know have a treadmill in my house so I really don’t have an excuse anymore!

In addition, to trying to work out more (let’s see if that happens) my goal is to also try incorporating more quality staple pieces into my wardrobe like a black blazer. I have a few but they are older and don’t fit as nice as they should anymore. Other staple pieces such as black leggings that don’t show your butt, updating my jean collection and throwing out old pairs are on my list. Are there any staple pieces you are looking for?
