The other week I went to an event in Toronto where they were showcasing the new lip crayons from Burt’s Bees. When I think of Burt’s Bees I think just regular lip gloss or moisturizer not a crayon that provides strong pigmented colours. I’m a big fan of adding colour to my lips but I don’t like that dry feeling that some give you and you feel like you need to re-apply it every second. These new lip crayons from Burt’s Bees are 100% natural, with no added flavour or fragrance and have only 3 key ingredients including Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Kendi Oil. They help to hydrate and moisturize dry lips leaving them with a fresh boost of colour and feeling smooth and soft.
Burt’s Bees 100% natural lip crayons are available in 6 different shades including: Caroline Coast, Hawaiian Smolder, Redwood Forest, Niagara Overlook, Napa Vineyard and Sedona Sands.
I like all the colours but am the biggest fan of the strong reds like the Napa Vineyard. I do however suggest wearing a liner with the darker shades just to help with a smoother look. Also, how cute are the small details on these crayons like the honeycomb accents on the lids? These little touches are always appreciated!
