A skin care regiment is important to have and important to maintain. We all know there are nights where you are exhausted and the last thing you want to do is going to the bathroom and spend a couple of minutes removing your make-up and then adding moisturizer and everything else. If that sounds like you, you have to remember not removing your makeup at night or having a healthy skin routine can cause additional skin problems in the future.
Vichy is one of my favourites brands, so when I was sent all three of these products at once, it was the perfect time to put them together as my new skin routine.
Step 1: After washing your face, use a toner to help smooth your skin. Vichy’s IIDÉALIA Life Serum will help do just that. You can read more about this review on a past review here. ($59.00)
Step 2: To correct any dark circles, fine lines or reduce shadows use the Vichy IDÉALIA Eye Contour Idealizer ($39.50). It’s hypoallergenic and doesn’t leave any oil behind. Eyes are one of the first places to show lines and any aging so make sure you are using an eye product daily. The cream is almost like a mix between a moisturizer and a foundation, giving you that coverage most of us need to cover those annoying bags!
Step 3: The new IDÉALIA BB Cream ($37.00) from Vichy is a 1 care solution for 6 different actions (illuminates, even complexion, moisturizer, smooths lines, refines skin texture and protects the skin). The product comes in 2 different shades. To use, apply a dab to your fingertips and blend the product onto the face with your fingers. I find using my fingers provides a better application compared to brushes but sometimes the brushes can be handy to get tricky areas like around the nose.
Total: $135.50 for all three products and they should last you 6 months or longer! That’s only $22 a month for skin care, not too shabby.
