How To: Protect Your Hair from Heat and Frizz

Protecting your hair from heat damage is one of the best things you can do for it. With the amount of times we straighten, blow dry, curl etc. our hair ladies  we need to be putting a protective layer on it before the heat is applied. L’Occitane has a new line called the Repairing Ritual. The line includes a Repairing Shampoo, Repairing Conditioner, Mask Repairing and a Repairing Oil.

Not included in the set, are two other products the Control Styling Prep-Cream and the Heat-Protective Control-Mist that are two additional products that can be added to your morning hair routine to protect those locks. These two products can help with reducing frizz and will help protect your hair against damage from straighteners and humidity. Like most L’Occitane products, they do have more of a fragrance to them. The Repairing kit is more suited for heat damage control while the Control Cream and Mist are more to target Fizz but they can be used together to fight against both annoying hair problems.

The Control Styling Prep-Cream is formulated without silicone and is enriched with softening jojoba oil and guar gum, which coats the hair. It will help to tame your hair on very humid days. It can help you see up to 82% less frizz.

The Heat-Protective Control Mist helps to fight against frizz and helps to guard against damage from hair dryers and straighteners. Protects up to 230 degrees C.
