Clairol: Nice n’ Easy

Working a full-time job, keeping up with the blog and a personal life definitely keeps me super busy. It’s not all bad because I love what I do and I’m the type of person that likes to keep busy and is unsure of what to do with down time

With that said, everyone does enjoy a little pampering and learning some new beauty and fashion tricks from the pros. So, when I was approached with the opportunity to take part in the Clairol “Shift a Shade” campaign I was excited to partner up and see what’s was in store.

Along with some other amazing bloggers, I will “Shift a Shade” with a Clairol Consulting Colourist (Luis Pacheco) by updating my hair, learning makeup techniques from a professional makeup artist and I will have the opportunity to try a new style that I may not have picked out for myself. The wonderful staff at Hair on the Avenue in Toronto will be styling our hair for the campaign.

For my hair, I’m excited to learn a new way to maintain my roots without damaging my hair with highlights all the time. I cut off a few inches about a year ago and recently I’ve been craving my length back so I am looking for any way to keep my hair healthier and help it grow a little bit faster.

We’ll be using Clairol Nice ‘n Easy, which comes in 44 different colours and is only $9.99 a box (PLUS you can save $2 by using this coupon!) so it’s affordable for anyone and you are almost guaranteed to find a shade that will work for you. Nice ‘n Easy creates beautifully blended natural looking shades, just like the experts but with the convenience of single step, at-home colour. Nice ‘n Easy is no stress and easy-to-use – even if it’s your first time colouring!

With the opportunity to talk with a professional makeup artist I want to learn how to do a simple smoky eye because I’m terrified to do them on my own and end up looking like someone just punched me in the eyes.

For style, I am looking to try something that I haven’t tried before. It can be hard to task risks when it comes to fashion so when you have the chance to work with a stylist why not tell them to have free range and put you in anything?

Stay tuned because I will be posting another post soon about the final look and how the whole experience went! Can’t wait to share it with all of you!!

What type of questions would you have if you could spend a day with a hair stylist, makeup artist and a stylist?

Go bolder. Go warmer. Go deeper. Go golder. With our broadest spectrum of natural looking shades, you can change it up and still look like your most amazing you.

Get inspired and #shiftashade. Nice ‘n Easy with Colour-blend Technology is available in 44 shades. For more information visit Clairol.ca.
