L’oreal Silky Sheer Tinted BB Face Lotion – This face sun screen is perfect for you if you’re looking for something that will offer a bit of coverage for your face. It has a SPF of 50 and offers UVA/UVB protection and has Vitamin E and white grape seed extracts. Apply the beauty balm about 15-30 mins before going outside. L’Oreal also offers the same face sun screen (see here) but without the BB if you would prefer that. Both are non-greasy, oil-free and water resistant.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra-Fluid Lotion – If your skin is very sensitive to the sun or have the beautiful pale skin like my friend Dee, the La Roche-Posay sunscreen might be a good option for you. It has an SPF of 60. The bottle does’t say anything about it being water-resistant so make sure you re apply the lotion after swimming. I personally like the style of the bottle, as the tip is small and you can easily control the amount squeezed out! The bottle shape is the same as a hair chalk product I have so let’s hope I don’t mix those up one time! Yikes!
La Roche-Posay also offers the sunscreen in a bigger bottle that’s also a SPF of 60 (see here) that would be a good option to use for the rest of your body. It’s fragrance-free, water resistant and fast absorbing.
Vichy Capital Soleil – Vichy’s spray sun screen has a lot of great features such as being hypoallergenic, paraben free and is perfect for people with sensitive screen. With a SPF of 30, UVA + UVB protection and the fact that is comes in a spray, it’s one of my favourites for the summer. When using, make sure you shake it well before spraying and re-applying every 2 hours or so. You can also use this product on your face, just make sure that you spray it on your hands first and then rub it onto your face. I just saw on their website, that they have a $5 off coupon for sun protects as well, so make sure you take advantage of that!
Garnier Ombrelle Dry Mist – Another spray form of sunscreen (my favourite way it comes) with a high SPF protection of 60 and is also water resistant. It’s very easy to apply, and doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky feeling. It’s suitable for people with sensitive skin and is 100% alcohol.
