DIY :: The Carrie Diaries Purse

I finally got around to making my very first video DIY, and what better DIY to begin with then something that is Sex and the City related! I’m already obsessed with the new show The Carrie Diaries, probably because I was already a fan of Sex and the City. What I love about the show so far is that they are keeping to the roots of the original series. So without further delay here is my DIY for the infamous Carrie Diaries Purse! P.S. Make sure your sound is on for some awesome Sex and the City theme music!
If you can’t watch the video, I have provided the steps below.
What you need: A black purse & multiple nail polishes.
These are the colours I chose.
Picking up each polish one by one, pour it over the purse in a fast motion. Once all colours are finished let the purse dry over night. As shown in the first photo, I added a gold chain to the clutch but that is optional of course.

This is awesome! I love how the bag turned out and how simple the whole process looks. Thanks for sharing this idea, if I find the right black purse, I’ll definitely be trying this!

This is such a great idea! I love how the purse turned out.

And I haven’t seen the Carrie Diaries yet but I definitely plan to catch up this weekend. I’m too buy to sit down and watch it during the week but it has been taking all of my willpower not to stay up late and see what all the hype is about. It looks so good!
